Our goal is to provide this as free resource to leverage fun and exciting ways to engage players and explore design challenges. Utilizing 3D solid modeling and 3D Printers allows players to receive immediate feedback on their design assumptions. This iterative hands-on environment encourages players to explore designs and experience the outcome of their decisions. We are in search of supporters that share our vision that future engineering talent is worthy of our time and investment; and that this tool will help discover, nurture and grow that talent.
With additional resources we will be focusing on the following tasks
- Assist new game designers with the design and integration of future challenges <link to game designer page>
- Integrate social media to enable player performance metrics
- Add forums to enable mentoring and crowd source game design
- Work with existing educational programs (like SME - Tooling U) to develop curriculum that leverage the RIPPL3D environment
- Make game testing resources more affordable to schools utilizing RIPPL3D games in their classrooms
